ABOUT THE DESIGN
Helga Isager writes about the pattern:
In the making of Tan Top & Shorts I was inspired by classic lingerie from the 40s. The set can be worn as underwear or on its own on warm summer days.
Both top and shorts are knitted bottom up in Trio 1 and Alpaca 1 and have ribbed details along the sides as well as wedges knitted in one strand of Trio 2. The wedges are shaped using Japanese short rows and makes a shiny contrast to the matte material.

CONSTRUCTION
The shorts are knitted bottom up and knitted in two sections, a left and a right section. When the wedge has been worked, the sections are joined at the waist. The bound-off edge is folded for a hollow for the waist elastic.
