Knit in Shawl in a Ball in Feng Shui Grey, the finished shawl reminds me of spider webs with radiating spokes in the center of the diamonds. The generous wingspan of this shawl gives you many options for wear.

This shawl really showcases gradient yarns nicely. Because it is knit side to side you can use up nearly all your yarn easily. Substitute your favorite gradient yarn keeping in mind that depending on your gauge and yardage your finished size and the required amount of yarn may vary.

The pattern is charted with row by row directions provided for each chart. You can work the shawl completely without using charts.

While not required, the use of a scale that can measure in grams is very helpful when determining how much yarn you’ve used and when it is time to switch from the increase to decrease sections. The sample shawl shown was made with 12 repeats of the increase chart and uses less than one ball of Shawl in a Ball.
