When wearing a scarf the bulk is needed in the middle to keep your neck warm, not at the ends that you need to do something with. This scarf is around 16cm wide at the back of the neck but the ends are only 6.5cm wide meaning the bulk is where you need it and the ends aren’t too thick to tie.

It is made lengthwise starting at the middle of the back with each row longer than the last. The scarf measures around 180cm (6′) so you will need a circular needle to fit the stitches on.
