NOTES:

  1. Coat is worked in 7 pieces: Back, 2 Fronts and 2 Right Half Sleeves, 2 Left Half Sleeves, and 3 Facings.
  2. Sts for Back and Fronts are divided to work in Panels.
  3. Coat was designed with dressmaker details - including sewn hems and separate facings. A good deal of sewing is called for to finish the Coat.
  4. Review the schematics before beginning for an overview of the order in which the Panels are worked.
  5. Panels are worked in St st and stranded colorwork following charts.
  6. Knitted cords are worked separately then sewn over seams between Panels using sewing thread.
  7. Lower edges of Coat and Sleeves have a sewn hem.
