Show your Doctor Who fandom with this beautiful and elegant TARDIS scarf. Knit on size 3 needles with Fingering weight yarn, this pattern is fully charted.Charts are included for both the right-side-up and the up-side-down TARDIS, so that when it hangs on your neck, both sides face correctly. It is fairly simple and uses the following techniques (instructions for each can be found on YouTube):

  • Stockinette stitch
  • Knitting with beads
  • Cables
  • Eyelets (yo)
  • Decreases (ssk & k2tog)

The finished size at the gauge specified is 6 inches wide and about 6.5 ft long. However, gauge is not critical to this project. Note that your yarn requirements may vary if the gauge is not achieved, however.

Each TARDIS requires 26 size 6 beads. The example and instructions specify 10 TARDIS. Your scarf could be made longer or shorter by including more or fewer repeats.

One possible yarn for the project can be found here:http://ahundredravens.com/product/iachos-tardis/
