Inspired by Stephanie Walls’ Kindle cozy pattern, this is a phone cozy that will fit the HTC Sensation smartphone, and other similar sized phones.

Knit in two colors of Sirdar Flirt (a bamboo viscose blend), one in blue, and one in white. A toe-up cast on was used, the Turkish cast on, but any toe up sock cast on will suffice. Basic colorwork skills are needed to add the TARDIS windows (ie:joining color, creating floats) as well as knitting in the round.

Please save time by taking time to check gauge. I used a US00 needle, but also knit very loosely.

You do not need a whole 50g ball of each color. I ended up using only about 15g of the white, and 38g of the blue. (79 yards of blue, and 31.2 yards of white). You will want extra yardage of the white if you choose to knit the “Police Box” words into the pattern.

You will also need some white fabric paint, if you want to paint “POLICE BOX” onto the cozy.
