A thread for information on how much i raised

This shawl is made from narrow side to narrow side in one piece using short rows and some elements of Orenburg technique (the pattern elements style, the edging grafting).
Short rows were not used in the Orenburg knitting, so this portion of the pattern is not classical at this point. Short rows are used in this shawl to create a crescent shape, to make a shawl but not a stole (bottom side of it is wider than the top side).
The advantage of this pattern is that you can decide how many repeats you need to make while knitting the shawl, not when you are casting on.
Dimensions can be adjusted by using different weight of yarn or different number of repeats.
The pattern consists of two small border charts and three body charts.
The body charts are presented in two versions for your convenience:

  • Letter size full charts for using on a laptop or iPad;
  • Letter size charts cut in four parts each for printing and connecting together and using as a hard copy. The pattern difficulty – intermediate, advanced knitters.

Thank you, ladies!! It was a pleasure to test-knit with you :)
My friend’s project is here: belaiavorona. She went through a Russian version of the pattern before it went for the test and helped me catch a few very tricky things. Thank you a lot!

Please do not hesitate to PM me if you have any questions about this shawl.
Happy knitting,
Yulia
