The stitch pattern in this sideways-construction pullover creates vertical ribbing that will grow a bit with the boy. The sweater pieces are joined with a slip-stitch seam for easy finishing. Slip-stitch ribbing makes up the versatile split-neck snap placket; large snaps are stitched into one side of the ribbing and don’t show through on the other side

NOTIONS St markers (m); yarn needle; 4 (4, 4, 5, 5) large (size 10) sew-on snaps; sewing needle and matching thread.
