Shawl is a crescent shape design and measures 45”/112cm at top edge, 78”/197cm at bottom edge, 15”/38cm at side edges, and 24”/61cm deep at center after blocking.

The shawl is designed using 1 skein Malabrigo “Sock”, color #083 Water Green as main color; and 1 skein Malabrigo “Sock” in color #856 Azules as contrasting color.

Pattern calls for 380 Size 6/0 glass beads, Miyuki #647. Beads should be chosen to match both main color and contrasting color, will be applied on both colors. You may also choose to use two different color beads. If you don’t wish to include beads, simply knit that stitch.

Techniques used in this pattern include creating stitches along side of lace border at bottom edge eliminating the need to pick up and knit stitches. This is a fun technique that adds a nice design element. Pattern includes written instructions, and a tutorial video can be viewed at:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OLUexQGhZEO.
Other techniques include Cable stitch; Slip stitches; Short rows; Attaching beads; working from a chart; and Lace work. Lace is solely worked from a chart.

I am a tight knitter so please do gauge if you don’t want a shawl larger than the above measurements and to ensure you have adequate amounts of yarn.
