This very easy striped scarf is knit in the round and was created while I watched the 2014 Olympics. It was cast on during the opening ceremonies and cast off during the closing ceremonies.

The first colour band is 22 rounds - 22nd Olympics
The stripes are 14 rounds each - 2014

It can be finished off with either the multi coloured pompoms (I used a 2 1/2” pompom maker), or would look great with multi coloured fringe.

Materials: Timothy Street Merino; 3 skeins in Vanilla Cream (main colour), 1 skein each in Riverwalk Red, Timothy Black, Corn Field & French Green, (you will only need approx. half of each of the contrast colours)
5.5 mm 40cm circular needles
1 stitch marker
