Teddy Boy is the companion sweater to my Cabled Heart Baby Cardigan.

A top-down cardigan with a garter ridge yoke that is echoed in the front edgings, this uses one skein of a gorgeous, superwash fingering yarn to make a great heirloom gift for a special baby.

The pattern is written and is suitable for an Advanced Beginner. You need to understand top-down construction, how to knit in the front and the back of a stitch, how to work in the round (for the sleeves), and how to pick up stitches.

The finished chest measurements are 19.5 (21.75, 23, 25)“ and the back length is 9.5 (10, 11, 12)”.

While it is styled for a baby boy, you can easily make this for a girl by switching the directions for the front edgings.
