A while ago I made a pullover for my teen aged grandson and had yarn left over. When I saw it in my stash one day I decided to use it to make a baby pullover using the same stitch I had used on the sleeves of my grandson Teddy’s sweater. That is how Teddy’s Baby Pullover came into being.

This is a seamless top-down pullover that is a fairly easy knit. The pattern is also easy to remember once you’ve done a couple of rounds. This is a very stretchy stitch and while you’re knitting, it may appear that the sweater will be too small. Once it’s off your needles and blocked it will be fine.

I made 4 of them using 16” circular needles, beginning with 2 circulars and then changing to just 1 when there were enough stitches on my needles. I did the sleeves using 2 circulars. Double pointed needles or 1 40” circular for magic loop method will also work.
