All small knits end up cute, but this one is made cuter with the addition of polka dots! We chose comfortable 100% organic cotton to make this little t- shirt, making it wearable in both warm and cool weather. This simple sweater features fitted sleeves, a roll brim crew neck, and of course fancy polka dot embellishments. It is made in pieces and seamed together. After the seaming the neck line is added by picking up stitches and knitting in rounds on double pointed needles. The polka dots are created with duplicate stitch after the sweater-knitting has been completed. We used mini skeins of For Better or Worsted, a blend of superwash merino, cashmere and nylon by Anzula yarns for the dots. Three skeinettes in three different colours was just the right amount of yarn to make the 11 polka dots that decorate this little tee.
