Sometimes a yarn has a mind of its own. Especially the self-striping variety. We love watching a yarn randomly pool into an organic pattern of color, and are completely mesmerized by a yarns that work up in calculated stripes. For yarn like this, a “vanilla” sock pattern - one that is simply knit, without pattern detail - is a go-to choice. But this is a vanilla sock with a twist! Unlike other vanilla sock patterns, this one has a tenacious toe - one that is reinforced to lend an added toughness to the sock, as well as extra warmth around the toe. It’s a sock that has the potential of becoming a winter favorite.

CONSTRUCTION + SIZING
This adjustable height sock is knit with the Magic Loop technique (though you can easily replace with double points) from the cuff down, with an Eye of the Partridge heel flap and matching, reinforced toe.

This pattern includes Youth (Small, Medium, and Large) sizing instructions, which measures to 7 (7.5, 8, 8.5)“ leg circumference.
