These mitts came from an idea a friend of mine gave me when she was talking about how fingerless mitts are loose at the wrist. I decided to design something with that in mind, and this pattern solves that problem. I thought it would be fun to name them after her since she is the reason this pattern even exists. This is such a quick knit and takes such a small amount of yarn, that it will make a great last minute gift knit, and you can use leftovers for it too.

The mitts are designed to be snug fitting, so they will probably look small when you are knitting them, and they are. If you are worried they will be too tight, go up to the next size. They knit up so quickly that even if you get into the pattern and realize they are not going to fit like you would like, starting over again is not a big deal.
