This design is one of two in my new sock pattern, the first in a series based on the classical elements. Both designs are knit from the cuff down and stitch patterns are charted as well as written out.

While the individual stitches of Terra Incognita are not difficult, the complexity of the design lends itself to solid colored or nearly solid colored yarns.
