We love Tessa, a 100% Italian cashmere that comes in huge 625 yard hanks that move progressively through each of four colors. In our sample, the colors progress from brown to black, and back to brown, and then to gray, then silver, and back to gray. Each color merges gradually into the next for a subtly striped effect that is nothing short of sublime.

We wanted to design a piece that would spotlight the beauty of the yarn by working it vertically over a large area.

The Tessa Coat is one-size-fits-all and is as comfy as it looks. And I love oversized sweaters in this shape, so this is a piece that I love wearing as much as I enjoyed knitting with one of my favorite yarns. In fact, I have barely taken off my Tessa Coat since I finished knitting it.

We have also designed a shorter version that is also oversized but not quite as voluminous called the Tessa Jacket.
