Tévutak is a sleeveless top for girls.

Construction:
Tévutak has a top down, seamless construction, where the yoke is worked sideways in stockinette stitch with I cord edging using short rows to create its circular shape (the front and the back of the garment are identical). Then stitches are picked up for the front and the back around the outer I cord edge of the circle separately. Both the front and the back are worked flat in chevron stitch until the armholes (making increases in every other row at the edges), where the work is joined in the round. After the desired length of the body is achieved, the work is finished with I cord bind off.

Yarn:
I recommend using Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk 4ply (the sample on the photos are shade 0100 “Aqua”) but any yarn can be used that meets gauge (I got the same gauge by using Rosarios4 Balada, for example, it is a similar yarn to Sublime Baby Cashmere Merino Silk 4ply).

Gauge: 27 sts x 37 rows in 10x10 cm in chevron stitch.
