The mistake broken rib stitch is such an easy-to-work structured pattern: with knit and purl stitches only, you create beautiful three-dimensional lines which look like brioche stitch, but are much quicker and simpler to make. The TEX socks are worked top-down, using a strong heel construction which results in a comfy fit. They are a great fun and a quick project as the pattern is written for DK weight yarn. Or you can use fingering weight held double, like the sample socks which are made of Alpawool Baby Socks by Hansafarm.
