SWEATER ‘TEXEL’

Sweater ‘TEXEL’ is a classical, raglan sweater design, when you look at the form. But it stands apart from other raglan sweaters, because of the textured patterns in the sweater.
The sweater is knitted on circular needles, top down, so you start knitting the neck part and end with the hem. After the raglan part there will be a division, the front- and backpart are knitted as a whole and the sleeves will be knitted apart.

The yarn that I choose for this sweaterdesign - Geilsk tweed, is a bit bold, 1ply thread, produced in Ireland. It is a traditional Donegal tweed, with the characteristic small coloured fibre flecks in it. The thread is a bit robust, when on the skein, but after knitting and washing it is really soft and very comfy to wear.
Geilsk is a small Danish company, owned by knitting
designer Bente Geil.

The amount of yarn you’ll need is between 6 - 9 skeins, obviously depend g on the size you are going to knit.

The sweater comes in sizes S - M - L - XL - XXL
