This cowl is a simple textured piece that would work with many yarn styles to create a basic staple to your wardrobe.

Skill Level: Beginner

Yarn: 1 x 100g ball, Sara’s Texture Crafts Superwash Sock (4ply, 80% Superwash BFL, 20% Nylon, 365m/399.1y).

Making Yarn Substitutions: To make a substitution go for a fingering, or 4ply weight and know that of the 100g/365m, I used about 52g/189.8m.

Needles: 4mm/6US , 60cm circulars.

Accessories: 1 small stitch marker, a tapestry needle and small scissors.

Total Weight: 52g (approx. 189.8m/207.5 yards)

Finished Measurements: 20cm/8 inches at rib top edge, 23cm/9 inches at middle cowl width and 25cm/9¾ inches deep.

Gauge: 6 stitches and 9 rows per inch.
