I whipped these mitts up one weekend as a thank you gift for my husband’s co worker. It’s a very basic pattern, but as I’ve had such a response to it, I decided to give a go at pattern writing and offer it up to you! As such, this is a basic pattern with detailed instructions for a beginner.

The ribbing allows the mitt to fit a range of adult sizes.

10-21-2009 There is an error in the pattern. I’m working to change the PDF, but until then, there should be a Make 1 between the RI and LI on the first round of the thumb gusset. In other words, you must create 3 new sts in that round, between the 2 knit (rib) stitches that are being split to either side of the gusset
