The 12th of Never is a song by Johnny Mathis and states a declaration of eternal love.

This small yet very attractive shawlette is knit from the bottom to the top. Due to the characteristics of Shetland lace, this shawl will stretch to size.

The large version is excellent for a bride. The mesh pattern in the centre will still show the dress, yet accentuate your shape.

The hearts in this shawlette fall around the body like a hug.
The mesh pattern makes it light, delicate and very, very special. I know the centre can be quite boring to knit, but look at the results! Just stunning.

You need to be an intermediate knitter for this pattern.
There are NO written out rows in this pattern
This pattern contains 4 charts.
Lace patterns are worked in knit/purl and in knit/knit.
You have to graft a small piece.
Stitchmarkers: 4. The patterns stay within the markers.

This shawlette can be knitted with ‘left overs’ you have laying around. It only needs ~380 yards, 190y of each colour.

The larger shawl is worked in fine silk lace yarn.

IMPORTANT:
take very good care to protect your knitting, snagging the mesh pattern can be quite difficult to repair.
