Mini skeins are a lot like a bowl of assorted candies- you never quite know what you might be surprised with! When we at Bumblebee Acres released our “Trick or Treat” mini sets, I knew I needed to create a project with these spooky colors that I could wear every
day of Autumn and that would also show off each mini’s unique color and dye style!
The 13th Cowl is designed to use 13 mini skeins, separating them with a tonal mini, so each color gets it’s own chance to shine. You can use any scraps or minis in your stash. Keep it spooky, or use any other type of color theme that speaks to you. The process of knitting this cowl is quick and potato-chippy, as it doesn’t take long to get to the next color. The result is a lightweight, drapey, colorful cowl you can wear in any weather. I hope you have as much fun knitting and wearing it as me! -SamBee

Yarn:
A total of 340 yards of Fingering/ Sock weight yarn.
Designed to use 13 mini skeins that are 10 grams/40 yards each (you only used about half of each mini) and 1 tonal mini
skein that is 20 grams/80 yards.
Suggested Yarn:
Bumblebee Acres Farm’s Squishy Sock in “13 Trick or Treat” Mini Skein Set and
1 “Black” 20 gram Mini Skein.
Finished Size:
Finished Measurements blocked is approximately 28” length/ circumference before seaming
and 13” wide.
Gauge:
Knit in stockinette stitch with US 4 needle blocked and stretched is approximately:
5 sts and 8 rows = 1 in./2.54 cm
