“The Accident” is a cowl that happend. Originally I wanted to make something vastly different. The outcome is a cute little pixie cowl/collar that can be worn in a variety of ways, even as a hood.

The pattern is very easy, techniques used are garter stitch and raglan increases. The finished piece is then washed and pulled severely out of shape to create playful corners and ends draping around face and shoulders. It fastens with a hook (or the shawl pin of your choice).

The pattern uses one full skein of atelier zitron blickfang, but can be done with any similar kind of yarn (or even stash busting your thicker yarns, which would make it wonderfully stripey). Gauge is not important. The pattern is unisex and one size.
