The Adams Sweater is an open and airy sweater designed to be made out of fibers like cotton or linen; and it is perfect for milder climates or transitional seasons. It can also be layered for cooler weather and would look just as cool. While you can make it from wool or alpaca, it would yield quite a different result, since cotton will stretch significantly more during the blocking stage.

I designed this sweater to be a quick make with a beautiful result, and I think it can definitely be taken on by someone relatively new to knitting.
