This hat is AMAZING because it fits ANYONE.

How?

All decreases are worked in measurements of 10 stitches. To make a larger or smaller hat, simply cast on more/fewer stitches in multiples of 10 (every 10 stitches alters the size of the hat by about 3 inches). Recommendations: cast on 70 stitches for adult male, 50 stitches for child size. The 60 stitch cast-on in the pattern is for the average adult female head.

Instructions include options for a garter stitch or basketweave brim, but I’m sure you can come up with something more inventive than that!
