I find making these graphghan blankets so much fun. They can be tedious with all the bobbins involved, but the outcome is always worth the little inconvenience. This blanket is too cute for words and would make an awesome birthday gift for any special little one in your life!

This Blanket is perfect for any little girl, possibly a boy depending on color choices.

Materials:
4 Skeins Red Heart Super Saver in Grey Heather (or about 1500 yard of Worsted Weight yarn for background color)
2 Skeins Hobby Lobby I Love This Yarn in Desert Glaze (or about 550 yards of Worsted Weight yarn for Contrasting Color)
I9/5.5mm Hook or Tunisian Hook
Tapestry Needle
Scissors

The materials you choose will have a direct bearing on what the size of your blanket will be, so if you use a smaller yarn or needle, expect your blanket to come out smaller and vice versa.

The directions to the pattern will be written as row counts, THERE IS NO GRAPH WITH THIS PATTERN, there is no intricate pattern writing on how to manage color changes or whether to use separate skeins, carry your yarn, or use bobbins (although I recommend using separate bobbins for each section). If this is your first time doing a graphghan, I recommend utilizing YouTube for video tutorials.

This pattern can be worked in Tunisian, single crochet, or HDC. I don’t recommend doing double crochet because it makes the picture look stretched out and incomplete. Also, if you choose to work in something other than Tunisian, you will need to read every even numbered row backwards. Don’t worry, its nowhere near as complicated as it may sound. If I can do it, you definitely can.

Size will also vary based on tension.

Recommended for people who have done tunisian or graphghan projects before. Not recommended for new to crochet beginners.
