This cardigan has a classic, timeless silhouette with a simple rib stitch based pattern. The pattern is not a true rib in that it does not create an elastic fabric. While the right and wrong side rows are worked differently, the fabric is reversible. The stitch pattern is written in text that can be memorized by any knitter quickly as it is a two row, six stitch repeat. The bands repeat the same rib pattern and can be secured with a shawl pin when the cardigan is worn. Short rows shape the collar around the neckline. The sleeve is a classic set in version. All sections are worked bottom up and seamed.
