New Orleans Knits is part of my Armchair Travel Series and I am releasing 3 patterns that are part of the ebook nowj ust in time for Mardi Gras! 5 patterns for $15 is half off individual pricing!

The Barpam Bowl isn’t your typical felted bowl, with welts knit into the piece. They almost look like pottery to me. The bowls can be knit in 2 sizes. They get their shape from a collapsing stitch and shaping after the felting is complete. Why the name? Read on!

Perfect for an advanced beginner and interesting enough for knitters with more experience. Instructions are written and charted.

My deepest thanks to Barb Stapleton and Pam Walmsley for seeing my vision for this non-welted bowl and their helpful suggestions! Thanks for putting up with me and listening to me ramble on and on and on.
