This pattern makes a warm and comfy split brim hat, with a variety of ways to add ties to finish your hat. Make it for yourself or for a friend! The honeycomb pattern is a quick knit and helps makes the hat so warm and squishy!

This pattern has two sizes available:

Small/Medium - fits older children and small adults 16” around 8” from cuff to brim

Medium/Large –fits most adults 21” around, 10” from cuff to brim

You will need:
At least 170yds of worsted or aran weight yarn - I used one skein of Imperial Yarn Columbia 2-ply in Golden Sun
US 6 - 4mm straight needles – or long circular needle
US 7 - 4.5mm 16” – 60cm circular needle
US 7 - 4.5mm DPNS

Tapestry Needle

Gauge:
18 sts x 28 rows = 4” (10cm)
