“The Beginning Scarf & Mitts”

These designs have come into being through a collaboration with Dandelions And Daisies Fiber Arts, this is the set for season 1 of the programme, with season 2 colours available to order later in the year.

They are suitable for any colour combination of the same number of skeins that you may have hiding in your stash or want to purchase especially for the pieces. The yarn details are all contained here in the pattern with the usage for each piece.

The yarn used is 4ply, fingering weight held double for the mitts and single for the scarf, with mini skein oddments for the edgings.

The patterns are suitable for a beginner with some knowledge upwards, and I hope you enjoy the making of your Outlander set.

The patterns are written by row, not charted or graphed.
The knitting gauge for the mitts is 10 rows x 12 stitches over 5cm square of rib pattern
The knitting gauge for the scarf is 12 rows x 14 stitches over 5cm square of scarf main pattern
