This whimsical stitch pattern is ribbed to allow a great deal of stretch and a good fit for a variety of feet. Both the back of the heel and the bottom of the heel are reinforced with a double thickness staggered slip stitch pattern. Directions are given for three circumferences and the length can be easily adjusted to allow for a perfect fit. This sock is knitted top down.
