This is a super bulky super slouchy extremely loose beanie ideal to put on your un-squashable hairdo in a very modern snoody kind of way.

It can be made in a matter of hours. The pattern is the easiest of all, just a K1 P1 rib that decreases at the crown very neatly with full instructions so you don’t have to think about it.

Top tip for a firm and stable edge that helps the hat stay on.
Do not cast on using thumb method.

Cast on using two needles
1st rnd: Ktbl into every cast on stitch
2nd Rnd: K1, P1 as normal

It works well in a variety of yarns and shades, but my favourite has to be the Chocolate one in Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Super Chunky.

You use any yarn that can be knitted on 8mm (US11) needles E.g.
