I have knitted this cardigan in a handspun organic 2-ply chunky wool. The colour is natural from the colour of the sheep. The wool is from my friend’s organic sheep herd in the Cape in South Africa. It is a beautiful wool, so soft and the colour variation is amazing! The sheep are sheared once a year and then I have the wool spun up and posted off to me here in Johannesburg, South Africa. It is truly gorgeous wool!

The pattern is more of an instruction than a actual pattern, but it is easy to follow, with no shaping and knitted according to measurements.

I started a tradition of knitting a Birthday Cardigan for each member of my family and I came up with this simple pattern:)
