I made this very simple pattern to knit fingerless gloves for some
Amish friends of mind who are not permitted to wear gloves with
patterns in the knitting. She’s an old order Amish Bishop’s wife
named Sarah. Hence the pattern name.

In my holiday excitement to give the plain solid color gifts to my friends - I forgot to take photos of them. And they cannot have photos of them taken wearing them. The only photo I have of a plain one is on the first page of the pattern itself.

However, I have knit another pair using a multi color yarn. They’re not tight fitting so if you want something that hugs your hand a little better, try knitting on size 2 needles instead of the US 3s.

Whether plain or fancy - I hope you enjoy the pattern. It does knit up quick - just plain vanilla knitting. This is actually an adaptation of my Alef Tav mitts less the stranded knitting with a longer cuff.
