This hat is perfect for both men and women, boys and girls.

A beginner friendly pattern, The Bulky Hat is worked back and forth in rows, before being seamed closed with a simple whip stitch.

The finished hat is fitted to the head and long enough for you to either wear it to cover your ears and base of your neck (which is perfect for chemo caps) or you can roll up the end of the hat to make a brim. This is also perfect to wear as a slouch hat as the ribbed texture is stretchy and holds its spot easily on your head.

The hat is not super heavy to wear even though it is crocheted with bulky weight yarn - it is super soft and beautiful to touch and wear.

The yarn was given to me by the Manufacturer and I love it - not only because of the colors and softness but because it is Oeko-Tex Certified - which means it is safe to wear for babies and safe to use for projects like chemo caps.

I hope you love this design - I will be releasing a medium weight version later this week :)
