The Bundle Scarf
The Bundle is a circular moebius scarf. The double-stranded bulky yarn makes it a quick knit and very warm. The scarf may be worn in a single elegant loop to show off the gradient coloring; looping the scarf two or three times is a cozy way to bundle up!
This pattern can easily be adjusted to accommodate yarns of all weights and gauges.
While it is a simple pattern and involves no purling, the Bundle does involve several techniques that may be new to some knitters, including:
- Provisional cast-on
- Knitting in the round
- The kitchener stitch
The original Bundle was knit in white yarn and hand dyed using Wilton dyes and the Knitty gradient method, found here, though you may use any dyeing technique before or after knitting, or use a pre-dyed yarn to avoid dyeing!
