The Button Twin Teddy Bears are the cutest little teddy bear twins. They are a quick knit so they are the perfect project for a last minute gift. Choose your own colour combination, or your favourite teams colours to make a personalized gift suitable for all ages. The Button Twin Teddy Bears are 20cm or 8 inches tall when standing.

The Button Twin Teddy Bears are knitted flat on two needles and then the pieces are sewn together. Both teddies are knitted using the same pattern. You just switch the main and contrast colours.

Materials needed to make both of The Button Twin Teddy Bears: 3.25mm or 3 US knitting needles, 50g or 3.52 oz YarnArt Allegro in colour 717 (double knit / light worsted yarn) (one ball), 50g or 3.52 oz YarnArt Allegro in colour 705 (double knit / light worsted yarn) (one ball), stuffing, 2 sets of 8mm black safety eyes, 2 x 10mm black safety noses, black embroidery thread, 2 x 5cm or 2 inch flower embellishments – one pink, one blue, and matching sewing thread to sew the flower embellishments on.

Knitting methods used: Cast on using the thumb method, knit, purl, M1R - Make 1 Right - Make 1 stitch by picking up the bar in between two stitches from back to front and knitting into the front of it, M1L - Make 1 Left - Make 1 stitch by picking up the bar in between two stitches from front to back and knitting into the back of it, K2tog - Knit 2 stitches together as 1, P2tog - Purl 2 stitches together as 1, SSK - Slip one stitch knit wise, slip one stitch purl wise, knit these two stitches together (decreases by 1 stitch), cast off, sew the pieces together using mattress stitch.
