A simple cowl with two intarsia charts for you to knit the camellias which you can then embellish with beads as shown in the photographs.

This cowl was inspired by the beautiful gown worn by Alla Nazimova in the 1921 silent movie Camille (Lady Of The Camellias) in which she starred with Rudolph Valentino. The gown and sets for the movie were designed by Natacha Rambova who was later to become Mrs Rudolph Valentino.
