The Cardigan That Lived is the sister pattern to ‘The Sweater That Lived’ released in December 2018.

The Cardigan That Lived is inspired by a young boy who learned he was a wizard. The colour work yoke features his iconic lightning bolt scar, along with his round glasses and the mystical stag form, produced when he casts a particularly powerful spell.

The cardigan is knitted top down and in the round, with a steek panel. The panel is then steeked to create the cardigan, before the addition of buttonholes.

By omitting the steek panel, this cardigan can be knitted as a DK weight sweater instead
