The vivid interplay of colors in this yarn remind me of the amazing stained glass windows in Chartres Cathedral in France, hence the name. The stitch pattern used in the bodice of this jacket was specifically chosen to be somewhat reminiscent of stained glass windows too. The Chartres Jacket is a surprisingly easy knit, resulting in a comfortable, easy to dress up or dress down jacket.

Gauge is 3 inches x 3 inches for Chart A and Chart B over 15 initial sts and 20 rows.
