The DeVille Cowl is here and she’s a squishy one! This double thickness cowl is over the top thick and tall but so worth it! It’s tall enough to cover the face in cold weather but squishy enough to pool nicely around the neck if you want it to be more decorative.

I can see this doing really well at markets and it will definitely impress as a gift for someone who loves to be cozy but still on trend!

This is an English written pattern (US terminology) that requires bulky weight yarn, a cold climate, and intermediate level Crochet skills. I’m not joking about the cold climate part, this thing is WARM

Pattern testers for this cowl had success using Lion Brand Scarfie, Lion Brand Color Made Easy, Loops & Threads Barcelona, And Caron Latte Cakes. I used Red Heart Hygge and Lion Brand Wool Spun for my samples.

It is recommended you obtain gauge (as close as possible) as outlined in the pattern so you don’t end up with a Cowl that’s too tight or too loose!
