This is a shirt I made while studying abroad in France. As I made it I wrote this simple pattern to go with it. I think it turned out beautiful, perfect for summer weather. I hope that you all like it too.

Simple and lightweight, this is a perfect easy spring project to make in anticipation of summer.

Yarn: I used a lightweight wool yarn that I bought from a local spinner and some 100% wool I found at my LYS. Probably used about 500 yards max. (thanks to thburningiraffe on reddit for pointing out my original error here!)

Gauge: 36sts x 24rows = 25cm x 15cm
Guage for 1 feather and fan repeat: 18sts x 4 rows (original guage is 3 repeats)

Needles: 6.5mm
