These twin dolls evolved as I worked with the lovely hand-dyed (but washable) yarn from Lisa Souza. Worked in one piece and stuffed as you go, these dolls are a fun exercise in knitting with very little finishing work. The twins wear knit-in underwear under the easily removal sweater and jeans or jean skirt. Short-rows make the heels on feet and shoes while circular knitting is used for the striped yoke sweaters. A great introduction to fair-isle colorwork is the satchel for Ellie or matching backpack for Eddie.

Join. After a couple of rounds, pull yarn end to close CO circle; on ws, make an overhand knot near to circle sts to secure.
