This oversized cowl offers the joy of a squishy shawl without the fuss when being worn. Due to the stitch patterning, The Embrace Cowl naturally tapers from cast on edge to bind off edge without changing stitch count or needle size! The pattern features only a few simple stitches, allowing this graceful garment to be knit by pros and beginners alike. Whether worn with a t-shirt and jeans or over a fine outfit, this cowl feels like a comforting hug around your shoulders. And who doesn’t need a hug?

The pattern calls for two full skeins of fingering weight yarn, but you will not use up the entire skein of each. Per color, you will be using around 240 yards. As individual gauges and yarn weights can differ, I highly suggest weighing your yarn to ensure you have enough for the project if you are going to use a partial skein.
