These socks are a breeze to knit, and a great first project if you’re learning to untangle cables for yourself.

It’s Socks Gone Wild - rustic, basic-cabled socks push the envelope by being worked from odd bits of yarn in screaming colours. Who says that Gentlemen’s socks have to be plain all the time? There are Gentlemen among us who crave socks…of a different stripe. These ones are for them.

Please note that the socks can be worked in as many - or as few - colours as you’d like to make them. There is nothing wrong with making these with only one colour of yarn!

Please also note that to cut down on ends to sew in - and to add to the rustic aspect of the socks - that all the bits of yarn were cut randomly and splice-felted together prior to knitting. Working from a “magic ball” like this is terribly exciting - one never knows what will happen next!

Finally, these socks are very forgiving, so yes - they are easily sized down - by changing yarn weight and needle size - should you know of any ladies who’d like The Finest Worksocks in their lives.
