This shawl is fun and easy to knit. It’s charted and the charts are very non-threatening. Easy to memorize and easily repeated to make the shawl any size you’re interested in.

Materials:

The lovely tweedy mustard one:

Habu Tsumugi Silk (lace weight yarn)
in colourway “ 34 Curry”
2 cones (approx 970 meters)
4mm needle (or size to obtain gauge)

The lovely heathered green one:

Harrisville’s New England Highland (worsted weight yarn)
In colourway “ Highland Cypress”
2 skein (approx 364 meters)
6mm needles (or size to obtain gauge)

Gauge:

Green one:

12 stitches per 4” in stockinette
2 1/2 lace lines per 4” (blocked and measured along the spine of the shawl)

Mustard one:

18 stitches per 4” in stockinette
3 1/2 lace lines per 4” (blocked and measured along the spine of the shawl)

Size (highly modifiable):

The mustard one is: 84” along the top and 42” at the deepest point
The green one is: 68” along the top and 34” at the deepest point
