Not much is known about the very first Quarter Quell in The Hunger Games. All that is known about this Games is that it was a Quarter Quell and the twist was that the districts had to choose their own tributes instead of reaping them.

So goes the same for this shawl. I will be holding a KAL for this beautiful shawl in August 2016 and you can volunteer to be in the games. When the games begin you will receive the full pattern and can battle it out with the other player to be the first person to victory (finishing the shawl).

Cornucopia:
Needles- US size 6 (4mm) DPNs and 32” cable
Stitch markers- 19
Yarn- Fistful of fiber Glenwood 2 skeins

• K- knit
• P- purl
• Kfb- knit front and back of same stitch
• sm- slip marker
• Pm- place marker
• C2F- cable 2 front C2B- cable 2 back
• YO- yarn over
• SSK- slip, slip, knit these 2 stitches together through back loop
• PSSO- pass slipped stitch over
• K2tog- knit 2 stitches together
• sl- slip stitch knit wise
• st(s)- stitch(es)
• CO- cast on
• BO- bind off
• RS- right side
• WS- wrong side
• tbl- knit through back loop
• cn-cable needle
• CDD- Center Double Decrease (Slip the next two stitches from the left knitting needle to the right knitting needle as if to knit two together. Knit the next stitch on the left knitting needle. Insert the left knitting needle into the two slipped stitches and pull them over the first stitch and off the right knitting needle.)
