I designed this semicircular shawlette for my very dear friend Kristina , it features heart shaped nupps and motifs of flowers.

The shawlette is worked back and forth from bottom up, Its shape is obtained decreasing the stitches following Elizabeth Zimmermann’s Pi method.

Sample on first picture knit with 3.17 oz / 90g - 787.5yd - 721m of Studio June Silky Alpaca Lace ( 875 yards/ 800 m on 3.53oz / 100g). Needles size 3.5mm /US 4 size .

The pattern is in charted and text format.

When purchasing the pattern, you find two files to download: one file contains the charts and the directions for the original pattern, the other file ( Flowery_Hearts_NEW. PDF) contains charts and directions for the updated version.
